On the lock screen, tap "Forgot passcode?" and enter the recovery code you wrote down when you set up Sill. You can then choose a new passcode.
I'm sorry. Sill has no server and no copy of your key, so nobody, including us, can open it for you. If you saved your code to iCloud Keychain, Sill can offer it on the recovery screen.
On your old phone, turn on Back up to iCloud in Settings, then Back up now. On the new phone, install Sill and choose Restore from iCloud, then enter your recovery code. You can also save a backup file and restore from it.
Yes. On your first device, turn on Back up to iCloud and Sync across devices in Settings. On the other device, choose Restore from iCloud and enter the same recovery code, then turn on Sync across devices there too. Both devices need the same recovery code.
Photos, videos and entries you delete stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Open Settings, then Recently Deleted, to get them back. After 30 days they are erased for good.

Deleting the app deletes what's on that phone. If iCloud backup was on, your encrypted backup is still in your iCloud Drive and can be restored with your recovery code.
Anyone with your phone can see Sill on the home screen, in iPhone Settings, and in your App Store purchase history. On the home screen it's just called "Sill", and you can pick a different icon in Settings. When you switch apps or lock Sill, only a plain cover shows, never your photos. The Limits page in Settings lists exactly what Sill can and can't hide.
